Disney to expand TV interests into Europe

Disney, the iconic US movie and theme-park group is about to launch new European television channels.
Disney TV operations will beam Mickey Mouse and friends into millions of homes, in an effort to develop the brand's audience.
Executives at Disney have said they hope to reach 100 million households within five years.
The group already has a free station in Spain and plans to open similar channels to sell its associated products, such as DVD's and stuffed toys.
