Car bombs kill 11 in Algeria

Algiers, Aug 20 (Xinhua) Two car bomb explosions hit the town of Bouira, southeast of the Algerian capital, killing 11 people and injuring 31 Wednesday, the official APS news agency reported.

One car bomb hit a hotel in the town and another targeted local military headquarters, according to the report.

The blasts came a day after one car bomb in eastern Algerian province of Bumerdes killed 43 people and injured 38.
