ABU DHABI, 8th May, 2025 (WAM) -- President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a cable to Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost, extending sincere best wishes on his election as new Pope and leader of the Catholic Church. The UAE President wished His Holiness Pope Leo XIV success in continuing to promote mutual understanding, peace, and harmony throughout the world.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, sent two similar cables of congratulations to Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost.
